Il faut relire (refaire ) les phrases 2 & 3.
2 I "'m getting" for Christine. Do you know where she is ?
On ne dit pas "I'm getting for..." sauf quand on parle de quelque chose à acheter ou à apporter pour quelqu'un d'autre. (ex: I'm getting a gift for Christine)
3 It"'s looking" dark. Shall I turn on the light?
On pourrait dire "it's looking dark" quand on "attend" une orage. Mais ici, je ne pense pas que c'est le verbe que vous cherchiez.

Si tout le reste est bon, j'en déduis que les phrases 2 et 3 sont :
I"'m looking" for christine. Do you know where she is ?
It"'s getting" dark. Shall I turn on the light ?
Mais maintenant, je ne comprends pas du tout la phrase avec "get" ; pouvez-vous m'aider ?
Merci à toi, Jonquille !

It's getting dark. = the light is going in the room.

La phrase "to get dark" veut dire "il fait noir (nuit)" ou "il commence à faire noir (nuit).
"It's getting..." is another way of saying..."it's becoming...."
(The room is becoming darker...the light is leaving the room -- comme chrislondon a écrit )
