Salut,

Voici mon petit article
"During our trip to the USA we have spent one day in a city named Norfolk one of the biggest city of Virginia. It is a naval city due to its port. That was the 30 October 2008.
The naval base of Norfolk, or Naval Station(Resort) Norfolk, is a naval, air and submarine base, of the navy of the United States of America, US NAVY, situated in the port of Norfolk, in Virginia, on the Atlantic Coast. It is the biggest naval airbase in the world.
With 13 platforms and 11 sheds with planes distributed on 17 km ², it gets 134 aircrafts and 75 warships, among which five aircraft carrier and 11 nuclear submarines of attack.
When we arrived here, we started from visiting the navy base tour. It is the world’s largest Naval Station and one of the most secures of them. Effectly, we had to be checked many times before entering because there are 75 ships and 134 aircrafts. We have visited it in a car with a guide but we could not take photos.
After we visited the Wisconsin, ship a battle ship during the Second World War.
It was very impressive due to its size. We could see many rooms except some parts of the ship. This ship can be re-used but it will take six months to restore it. Now it is a naval museum, which explains to the public wars in the world.
We had breakfast at Mac Arther Mall. A Mall is a place where there a lot of tops and restaurants. There are three floors. We have eaten pizza. We could after made shopping for example at Abercrombie, Apple store, chocolates shops …
We all liked this moment and we have bought things there is not in France.
The afternoon was reserve to discover the lands cape of the state.
First, we have visited Cap Henry light House a lighthouse which faces up the Atlantic Ocean.
It is said there are dolphins in the ocean but unfortunately, we don’t have seen them. Finally, we had a nice stop at the beachfront and every one enjoyed this trip."
Merci de me répondre !!!
