Hello I have an exercice in english and I am not sure of my answer can you help me ?
This is the subject:
Combine the short sentences below into more complex ones, adding linking words, any necessary relative pronouns and the correct punctuation, in order to make a short paragraph:
Joe's father is a poiliceman.
He overtook on a double yellow line.
It could have cost him his driving licence.
He told the officer about his father.
He happened to work at the same station.
He just gave him a warning.
Joe thanked him.
He reflected that being a moliceman's son did have some advantages.
This is my work:
Although his father is a policeman, Joe overtook on a double yellow line , which could have cost him his driving licence Therefore , he told the officer about his father, with whom, luckily, he happened to work at the same station Consequently , the policeman just gave him a warning, that's why Joe thanked him. Thanks to this misadvanture Joe reflected that being a policeman's son did have some advantages.
Thank you
Merci d'avance

Bonsoir,
Quelques suggestions mais votre texte de départ se tenait.
Although his father is(was?) a policeman, Joe overtook on a double yellow line , which could have cost him his driving licence ,therefore (so ferait moins littéraire), he told the officer about his father ("who luckily happened to work at the same station"serait plus léger mais ce with whom fera très classique et très sérieux. Dans vos phrases de départ, je pense que "he" représente le père), with whom, luckily, he happened to work at the same station. Consequently , the policeman just gave him a warning, (for which Joe thanked him heartily)that's why Joe thanked him. Thanks to this misadvanture Joe reflected that being a policeman's son did have some advantages.
