Bonjour,
Je poste ce message car je dois préparer un texte en anglais. Je me débrouille assez bien dans les autres matières, mais les langues n'ont jamais été mon fort.
Pourriez-vous jeter un coup d'oeil à la manière dont j'ai formulé les questions et les réponses s'il vous plaît?
What is "Guinness world records"?
Guinness world records also called "The Guinness Book of Records" is a book listing world records like the longest fingernails, the tallest man, ... That can be a way to find fame.
In order being famous, some people are able to do the most extreme things.
What do you think about?
Personally, I'd prefer becoming famous thanks a talent. Thanks a talent, I think it's possible to stay famous. If I'm a talented singer, a splendid dancer, a good actor or something else, it will be a good way to keep the fame.
However, if you find fame with, for example, the longest fingernails recorded in this book, you will be known a few weeks or even a few days. But after, you will lose fame so quickly.
For being famous, people can make dangerous things, I think it's a quite stupid.
Would be able to make extreme things in order finding fame?
I'm always scared by dangerous things, I wouldn't be able to make extreme things even if someone offers me a big sum of money! I prefer being unknown, having good times with my family and my friends and enjoying life than dying for the celebrity!
Being famous is a dream but making extreme things not!
However, if I had got a talent, I would certainly do an audition to a talent show like Britain's got talent, American Idol, X factor, ...

Thanks (**) a talent, I think it's possible to stay famous. If I'm a talented singer, a splendid dancer, a good actor or something else, it will be a good way to keep the fame (maladroit).
However, if you find fame with, for example, the longest fingernails recorded in this book, you will be known for a few weeks or even a few days. But after(normalement, on n'utilise pas after tout seul, after that), you will lose fame so(maladroit, very passerait mieux) quickly.
For being (vous vous trompez de "pour", for + ing indique une cause (thank you for helping me) alors que to + base verbale indique un but (to lose weight, I eat less)famous, people can make dangerous things, I think it's a quite stupid.
Would (sujet?) be able to make extreme things in order finding fame?
I'm always scared by dangerous things, I wouldn't be able to make extreme things even if someone offers(prétérit) me a big sum of money! I prefer (je mettrais l'infinitif plutôt que des gérondifs ici, c'est un choix, une hypothèse et non une habitude de vie) being unknown, having good times with my family and my friends and enjoying life than(incomplet . plutôt que de = rather than) dying for the celebrity!

Donc si je comprends bien, voici les corrections:
- In order to be
- I'd prefer to be
- thanks to (pour "grâce à")
Pour le 2e thanks to, puis-je utiliser un "due to" afin d'éviter la répétition?
- the fame (j'ai omis le "the", car dans tout le texte auquel se rapportent mes questions, il n'y a jamais le "the" devant le "fame")
- after that
- very quickly
- To be famous
- it's quite stupid
- Would you be.... (l'oubli était une faute de frappe en fait)
- in order to find fame
- if someone offered
- rather than dying (on peut utiliser une forme en "-ing" dans ce cas-ci?)

corrections exactes.
rather than: en fait marche plutôt avec I would like, je me suis fait avoir par votre "than", mais ça doit pouvoir aller aussi avec I would prefer.
I prefer coffee TO tea.
I prefer swimming TO walking.
I would prefer to be unknown rather than to be famous. Si on commence à l'infinitif, on finit à l'infinitif.
I like swimming better than jogging.
I would rather watch a film than play tennis.
Au fait, some people are able(ready me paraît plus fluide) to do the most extreme things.
