Merci pour vos réponses.
Work placement
Hello, my name is XXXXXX, I’m student at XXXX high school and I’m studying for a baccalauréat Gestion Administration the English equivalent is the BTEC national Management and Administration. Now, I’m going to tell you about my work placement.
I did my internship at a campsite in XXXXX from June the XXth to July the XXth 20XX.
The campsite is located not far from my home, so I went on foot. My hours were from 8 o’clock to noon. They have got a head office called “XXXXXXXX”, at XXXXX. It’s a limited liability and private company. Their activities are the marketing, the operation, the management, the development of camping, villages, cottages.
It’s a small structure of seventeen campsites. There are forty five employees.
The company has connections only in France.
There, I realized activities. I worked at the reception and secretarial department: to receive customers, I answered the phone and mails, I had to be present to answer customer’s expectations and to provide information. To make bills when the customer wanted to pay his stay. To control customers’ records, there are three different flaps pockets which are available to put customers’ records who stayed on the campsite or stayed only a night or left the campsite.
I worked at the reception and management department: I had to control the sale, the total of bread, pastries, supermarket products and to type everything on Excel. I also had to calculate sales.
I worked at the reception and sale: I sold bread, pastries and supermarket products. Every morning, I sold these products to customers. I also had to manage the cash money. After my work, I had to leave fifty euros in my cash machine drawer for the next day.
When the customer wanted to leave, I took a customers’ record and I calculated the price.
The activities were mixed, I was always sat, ready to receive all customers. The tasks weren’t hard, but it was repetitive. I prefer compared at this work placement the school, because I didn’t feel in my place, I felt like didn’t do the necessary work for my sector.
