But du jeu:

Bonne continuation.

Hello everyone!
Thank you to steeve34 for his concern. Everything is fine with lucile and everything has been made quite clear now. So, as they say, "it's business as usual".
This evening, I'll stop the game for 1/2 hour, in order to do some updating. We are currently short of 2 words left behind (from... somewhere in Game 2).
I'll also install a system so we won't have to carry the whole list, each time. This is something I thought about when we first started and I think it's time I install it this evening. It'll be easier for all of us (I hope so )
See you then,
Please, just translate in French (I know almost all of you are doing this). ONLY explain in English when the word is rare or special. Mention if the word is "archaic" or "literary", or "U.S", when necessary

Freedictionary.com & worldnet.com mentionnent ---> a person who rests. Quelqu'un aurait-il le mot français équivalent?

Hello shinygirl!

Hello steeve34! We can't have "mourning" (because of the letters "i"and "g". The verb (infinitive) is on the list. Sorry! I'm sure you'll come back today to give us another couple of words...
TO EVERYBODY:
We have "mourn", but, although "mourned" could be accepted (all the letters are ok) we won't accept it, because-->
We accept the preterit & past participle of a verb when we're dealing with an Irregular verb, as ;long as the spelling is different from the infinitive.

Hello to all of you!
On verra...

Nous avons maintenant dépassé les 500 mots.
J'ai vérifié orthographe et traductions. J'ai ainsi appris à quoi servait cette petite machine "deduster" --dépoussiéreur-- (merci euol... j'y penserai en prenant mes comprimés... ).
Enjoy the game!

A bientôt!
Sorry sami105,
J'ai mis ton mot "tepee" sur la liste..-- erreur de ma part --. mais je m'en vais l'enlever de suite, car il y a un "p".....
Et voici quelques mots de plus:
teethe = faire ses dents

D'accord.
mets = methylated sprits
Cela dit, est-ce qu'on accepte does? doesn't? don't?

I have removed DOTH (not a word as such)--> 582 – 1 = 581 words
I have added the last 41 words. FINAL TOTAL---> 622 words
but... re-checking everything, I've realised I had to delete 4 more words among those 41--->
denounce - denouncement - hold - holder (no "c" and no "l" in Thunderstorm, so, we cannot include those 4 words...)
Each of you is a real , as it is thanks to each of you that we've reached this result of 618 words.
Soooooooooooo, I think we've reached the end of our "Thunderstorm"!
A big big thank you to ALL the participants who enjoyed both playing and learning. From reading the MPs I received, I'd like to tell you that you also gave a lot of pleasure to other members who didn't contribute to the game, but kept following it. By the way, I invite them (why not?) to participate in the following game.
We'll carry on with Game "4". This time, the starting word will be a shorter one and will have a restricted number of vowels, so, quite a different type of challenge!....
Watch for the opening of Learn and Play - 4 -
A très bientôt!
A little note to shinygirl :
You are so incredibly persevering , I know... and you might still want to find a couple of words to round off our total to 620.... Well, if you find 2 good "plain" English words, why not? I won't stop you! ... (I'll keep looking)
