It isn't assimil method. My jeweller is rich. His shop lay on "rue de la paix". Have you heard about the rubbery this weekend in "rue de la paix"(40.000 at monopoly game). Two persons clothed as rich Arabians came into a jeweller's shop, asked for watching and trying diamond rings. Then they asked for watching the windows, went out and get in a car standing there with two accomplices and escaped.

The jeweller realized the had make away with a 60000 euros ring (4 carats)
