It's been a long time since I did one of your exercises!...

0) despite the fact
1) whereas
2) in spite of
3) however
4) although
5) but
6) Si je mets "even though", alors, j'aimerais changer un peu et dire:
even though their feet were aching.......... plutôt que:
even though having aching feet.........

Est-ce que "ça marcherait"?
