Modifié par felin le 02-09-2006 11:51 Hello magma...
1)to refund = to pay back money in exchange of goods you return.
When you buy a product and you return it, you get “a refund”.
They will give you the money back in exchange of the product you have returned (in good condition AND, with the receipt)
2)to repay = to pay back the money you borrowed from somebody.
You borrow £100 from me, because you are short of money.
You say to me: I will repay you in 5 instalments of £20.
5 weeks later:
You have repaid all the money you borrowed.... No more debts!
How much money do you EARN?
Oui, on pourrait poser la question sans le mot “money”:
How much do you earn? conviendrait aussi, et la réponse serait la même.
What is your salary? = How much money do you earn? = How much do you earn?
Hoping this will have answered the questions.
