Bonjour,
Une petite révision en ce qui concerne la possession.
Le corrigé à partir de mercredi.
Whose ? sert à interroger sur l’appartenance.
Whose cup is it ? A qui est cette tasse ?
It’s Brian’s cup. C’est la tasse de Brian.
Pour éviter la répétition, on peut répondre par le génitif seul :
It’s Brian’s.
On peut répondre en utilisant un déterminant possessif suivi d’un nom.
Whose key is it ? It’s my key.
A qui est cette clé ? C’est ma clé.
On peut répondre aussi en utilisant un pronom possessif.
Whose key is it ? It’s mine.
A qui est cette clé ? C’est la mienne.

Construire les réponses comme dans l’exemple suivant.
Ex : Whose pen is it ? (Paul)
= It’s Paul’s pen. – It’s Paul’s. – It’s his pen. – It’s his.

Pour pris444,
Non le cours n'est pas complet, il faut l'approfondir notamment quand le possesseur n'est pas une personne, par exemple, dans certaines expressions de temps et de distance.
Un même objet pour deux possesseurs.
Deux personnes possédant deux objes identiques.
Pour dire un de mes amis ou un ami de...+ nom de personne.
(Précision supplémentaire : le rappel de ces petits cours sont du niveau 5eme collège tiré d'un livre d'exercices Hatier de 1998)
