Coucou, et voilà mon tout premier exercice posé ici!
On va commencer pas trop dur alors!

1/ Il y a quelques fautes dans votre exercice. (attention moi je ne veux pas en voir!
2/ Il n'y avait personne dans la maison.
3/ Un accident vient de se produire; il y aurait des morts et des blessés.
4/ Tant qu'il y aura des roses, il y aura des poètes.
5/ Il se peut qu'il y ait beaucoup de monde à la réception.
6/ Il y a eut un très long discours.
7/ Il doit y avoir une lampe électrique quelque part.
8/ Il y aura de nombreuses infirmières en grève.
9/ Il pourrait y avoir des complications imprévues.
10/ Jusqu'à présent, il n'y a pas eut de protestations.

1) there are some mistakes in your exercise ( hope you won’t see any !!! )
2) there was nobody in the house
3) an accident has just happened; there might be dead and injured people
4) so long roses will be, so long poets will be
5) there may be many people at the meeting
6) there has been a very long speech
7) there must be a torch somewhere
8) there will be many nurses on strike
9) there might be unexpected complications
10) until now there has been no protestation

Hello. I usually like to wait until the francophones have given their answers, but this exercise seems really interesting so I can't resist doing it now. So, if you don't want to see my answers until you've tried to do this exercise yourself, then please close your eyes! (P.S. not that my answers are necessarily correct! )

1) There are some mistakes in your exercise.
2) There [was nobody]/[wasn't anybody] [at the house]/[(at) home].
3) There's just been an accident; there might/could be some dead and injured/wounded.
4) As/so long as there are roses, there will be poets.
5) There might/could be a lot of people at the reception.
6) There was a long speech. (C'est "eu" et pas "eut", n'est-ce pas?)
7) There's got to be a flashlight (around here) somewhere!
8) There will be many nurses on strike.
9) There could/might be unforeseen complications.
10) So far, there have been no protests.

7/there must be a flashlight there somewhere.

4. There will be poets as long as there will be roses.
There will be poets until there are roses
5. It's possible that there's quite a crowd at the reception.
6. There has been a very long speech.
7. There must be a torch somewhere.
8. There will be lots of nurses on strike.
9. There might be unexpected complications.
10. There has been no protest until now.

C'est moins simple qu'il n'y paraît.

Alors si maintenant magmatic rock se met aussi à donner des exercices (interessant de sucroît!) je me demande quand je vais avoir enfin le temps de faire mes petites fiches de synthèse!!!!

For 3) I'm fairly certain it's not "there would be".

I put "there might be" but now I think "there reportedly are" or "there seem to be" would be better.

Bonsoir à tous(tes), voici la correction que je proposerai mais j'ai vu que vous en avez d'autres qui pourraient convenir aussi bien:

1) There are a few mistakes in your exercise.
2) There was nobody in the house.
3) An accident has just occured ; there would be some casualties. (et ou Traviskidd there would be convient ici!)
4) As long as there are roses, there will be poets.
5) There might be a lot of people at the party.
6) There has been a very long speech.
7) There must be a torch somewhere.
8) There will be plenty of nurses on strike.
9) There might be unexpected complications.
10) So far, there haven't been any protestations.

Alors TB pour tous le monde, mention parfait pour Lucile, Traviskidd, Aimen, Hyppoblue.
Bridg: dans la 1) mistake est plus employé pour des fautes dans un exercice, dans la 3) c'est dead pas death, dans la 9) might be et non might have
Post-scriptum: dans la 3) happened et men j'ai pas compris! pour blessé c'est injured.
Jane: 1) exercise pas exercice, dans la 3) pas deux fois some --> some dead and injured, dans la 4) poetries= poésies ici poètes=poets, dans la 9) pas de have

Voilà c'est juste quelques petites fautes chez ceux qui ont en fait!
