the good news is, there's somebody here. But I have to tell you the bad news -you have created a new word for the English language: "sparing"! Maybe you mean spending? Well anyway, you learnt something new....

Actually, this word does exist as a noun (sparing) but also as a verb : To spare. She was maybe thinking of the spare-time, confused with "spending", that suits better in this case.

No, I'm not kidding. The phrase " spare time" exists, check the meaning if you want (Business Books, Harry Potter).

Any way, if someone is interested in meeting English friends in a fun atmosphere, why not enjoy exchanging real chat in real life...

as chrisg said, actually "spare-time" exists as a noun but i guess that you cant say "enjoy sparing time"... doesn't mean anything..well, thats just my point of view but we would need an english native people.. chrisg, arent you english ?? give us an explanation (chrisg or some1 else ! ) ..
.. oh, and tell me if i made some mistakes in my writing cause id like to improve my grammar and stuff..

1°) to spend time (on +ing) : passer du temps, passer/dépenser son temps à
2°) to Spare THE time :
example : Can you spare the time ? Avez-vous du temps ?
example : To have no time to spare : Ne pas avoir de temps à consacrer
example : when I have time to spare : quand j'ai du temps libre

Therefore I think that in that case, it should have been written :
"...and enjoy spending a good time together..."
