The crisis (correction)
Message de kiwikiwi13 posté le 22-02-2007 à 19:55:09 (S | E | F | I)
Bonjour!
Scientifics, economists and politicians have underestimated the scale of the crisis. In fact, they announced the end of it on several occasions, but they was mistaken : 20 years after its beginning, the crisis, violent and savage, endures.
The crisis creates new fears, because it is durable. The fear of it and of unemployment, is originally of all destabilizations. For example, this fear aggravates the feeling of threat and anxiety about immigrants, which maintains the extremists in political life. Moreover, the question of Europe has became a real problem, and so, citizends are anxious about it. Furthermore, the crisis has grown an unrest feeling in suburbs and a fear of cities. Then, a fear of history and an obsession of decline has spread in societies, and people don’t dare to look the past.
The convictions of french people came to an end because of the crisis. In fact, the optimism of the postwar period, charachterized by the confindence of the future and an hope of social rise has been destroyed by unemployment. Nowadays, the daughters worry about job opportunities of children, and look for job.

Hello kiwikiwi13!
-- quand tu corrigeras, prends bien note du vocabulaire et expressions à revoir
-- quelques fautes de grammaire relatives aux verbes et quelques fautes d'inattention qui ne seront pas difficiles à corriger avec ton dictionnaire.
-- they was mistaken ---> pas was, car le sujet est “they”, donc....
-- 20 years after --> pas after, mais later -- et si c'était 20 ans “avant”, on dirait 20 years “earlier”.
-- “its beginning” --> superflu.
-- the crisis, violent and savage, endures --> 2 points à revoir.
..... the crisis endures --> “endures” ? cela ne veut rien dire. / is still going on?
-- because it is durable --> dans ce contexte, je suggère--> because "it goes on" / because "it doesn't stop" / because "it never ends"... A toi de voir.
-- is originally of all destabilizations --> pas “originally”. Peut-être que tu veux dire: “has a destabilizing effect” ( ? )
-- in political life --> je pense que tu veux dire: politically active ( ? )
-- has became --> revoir le participe passé du verbe
-- citizends --> orthographe
-- has grown .... --> pas le verbe to grow, mais to increase
-- an unrest feeling --> On dit: a certain feeling of unrest / a restless feeling
-- in suburbs --> article défini devant suburbs (en banlieue, dans les banlieues = in the suburbs)
-- a fear of history ??? (trop vague, ce terme... je ne vois pas. Peut-être s'agit-il de--> A fear of war? a fear of destruction?....
-- has spread Il y a 2 sujets (fear & obsession), donc, pas “has” mais ....
-- to look the past "To look" = avoir l'air, mais "to look at" = regarder.
-- The convictions of french people --> majuscule à French. Les “convictions” --> quelles convictions? Est-ce que tu voudrais dire: The hopes? Attention, il faut employer le cas possessif, en commençant par The French peopl (' s .....)
-- charachterized --> revoir l'orthographe.
-- confindence --> revoir l'orthographe
-- the confindence of the future --> pas d'article défini devant confidence – On dit confidence “in” (pas “of”)
-- an hope of social rise --> mettre l'article défini devant hope (THE optimism of... – and THE hope...). Le terme social "improvement” me semble plus approprié ici que "rise".
-- has been destroyed --> C'est le preterit ici, car la "postwar period" est tout à fait terminée, donc--> was/were... Il y a 2 sujets (optimism & hope) donc, il faudra choisir ....
-- the daughters worry about children – J'ai bien l'impression que ce sont des “MOTHERS” dont tu parles, non? -- The mothers worry about "their" children.
-- and look for job -- on dit: [to look for “a” job] –- Tu pourrais répéter le sujet en mettant “they” (look for a job) . Suggestion: they “have to” look for a job ( car de nos jours, les mères "doivent" souvent chercher du travail)
Bon courage
