Likes - Dislikes - Concession - Consequence - Requests - Purpose - Cause
A-

2- I feel like going to the cinema. (request)
3- He is shot and yet i goog at basketball. (concession)
4- They bought that book for me to read it.
5- We were so late that we missed the beginning of the film. (consequence)
6- Can you call them back tomorrow ? (request)
7- Unlike her sister, Jenna is friendly.
8- I'm very keen on football. (like)
9- It's only thanks to his friends that James passed his exams?
10- I would like you to answer the phone ? (request)
B- Ici j'ai le choix entre :
Probability - Preference - Reproachs - Comparison - Complaints - Regrets
1- Jane's favourite films are Chaplin's films. (preference)
2- If only I had not seen that film. What a waste of time.
3- Among all the flavours for ice cream, what I like best is chocolate. ( preference)
4- Susan Called. She said she might visit us soon.
5- The two sisters have so little in common.
6- She always complained about the food. (complaints)
7- These two motorcycles don't quite look the same.
8- He told me he regrets not talking to you. (regrets)
9- He has just missed his bus. He is unlikely to be here on time.
10- Harry was not as tall as his brother Paul. (comparison)
11- Don' blame her for being late. The bus was late.
12- I should not have bought that bool. I don't like it. (reproach)
Merci d'avance A-C!

Bonjour.
A)
4- Purpose
12 - Regret : je n'aurais pas dû / ou self-reproach=> reproche envers soi-même => je me reproche d'avoir acheté ce livre

A-4: purpose (for me to….)
A-7: concession (unlike)
A-9: cause (it’s only because)
(personellement je ne classerais "I feel like" A-2 dans aucune des propositions...)
B-2: regrets (if only I had)
B-4: probability (she said she might)
B-5: comparison (have so little in common)
B-7: comparison (don’t look the same)
B-9: probability (he’s unlikely)
B-11: request (don't blame her). Reproach (the bus was late)
B-12: regret (I should not have)
