MLK was born in Atlanta on january,15, 1929 in a fine Victoria home. Here he learnt about family an christian love, segregation in the days of "Jim Crow"laws;diligence and tolerance. He entered Morehouse College at the age of 15.On february,2,1948 king was ordained a Baptist minister. King's studies at Crozer and Boston led him to explore the work of the Indian nationalist Ghandi whose ideas bcame the core of his own philosophy of nonviolent.he married Coretta Scotton on june,1953; the following year he accepted an appointment as pastor in Alabama.on december,1,1955 Rosa Park, black dressmaker refused to give up(céder sa place) in a bus of Montgomery; as the law required(l'exigeait); the conductor(controleur) stopped her (la fit arrêter) for infraction. In 1963 he led a massive civil rights compains in Birmingham in Alabama and organized drives for black voter registration, desagregation and better education and housing throughout the South. In august,28,1959 he led the Historic mARCH ON wASHINGTON where he delivered he famous speech"I have a Dream"(that is written in our school). On december,10,1963 MLK was awarded th Nobel Peace Prize. He was very tired and his speeches increasingly alluded to his possible death.on april,3,1963 he said in a speech he had "been to the moutain top and seen the Promised Land". The following day he was shot and killed by a white escaped convict, James Early Ray.In 1983 the third day in January was designated a federal legal holiday in honour of MLK.
D'avance un grand merci

Tres bon Anglais mais il semble difficile de le raccourcir , vous citez les élèments les plus marquants de sa vie (je parle en connaissance de cause).

Bien joué

Hello rowenna,

Martin Luther King was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 15, 1929 in a fine Victorian house. There he learnt about family an christian love, segregation in the days of "Jim Crow"laws, diligence and tolerance. He entered Morehouse College at the age of 15. On February 2, 1948 king was ordained a Baptist minister. His studies at Crozer and Boston led him to explore the work of the Indian nationalist Mohandas Ghandi whose ideas became the core of his own philosophy based on non-violence. He married Coretta Scott on June, 1953. The following year he accepted an appointment as Pastor in Alabama. On December 1, 1955 at Montgomery, Rosa Parks, a black dressmaker refused to let her seat to a white person in the bus as it was required by the law. Therefore she was arrested.(il faut faire un lien entre cet évènement et la phrase qui suit en introduisant par exemple le fameux boycot des bus organisé par King) In 1963 M.L.King led a massive civil rights campain in Birmingham, Alabama and organized drives to register black voters. He also struggled for better education and housing throughout the South and against segregation. On august 28, 1963 he helped lead a famous civil rights march on Washington, D.C, where he delivered his famous speech "I have a Dream". On December 10, 1963 M.L.King was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. He was very tired and his speeches increasingly alluded to his possible death. On April 3, 1963, he said in a speech he had "been to the moutain top and seen the Promised Land". The following day he was assassinated, shot by a white escaped convict>, James Early Ray. In 1983, a law was passed that made the birthday of M.L.King a national holiday.
En rouge, des élément inutiles selon moi.

Je constate que le texte est encore assez long, alors je te propose cette réduction mais avec de petits changements dans le contenu:

In 1983 the U.S Congress passed a law that made the birthday of M.L.King a national holiday.
The great freedom fighter was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up in a religious family. He daily had to face the problems of segregation and racial injustice and wanted to change things for the better. In 1948 he became a Baptist minister. He was greatly impressed by M.Ghandi's belief in Non-violent protest to achieve freedom and civil rights. On August 28, 1963, King helped lead a famous civil rights march on Washington D.C where he delivered his famous speech:"I have a dream". In 1965 the Voting Rights Act enabled many blacks to vote. On December 10, 1963, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. The same year Time magazine had named him "Man of the year". He was assassinated on April 4, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee.
