Voila je dois écrire une lette à mon futur enfant, il faut que je lui parle des dégats causés par l'Homme.
J'ai besoin de savoir comment on dit:

je rappelle que vous avez accès à un dictionnaire en ligne de qualité en double-cliquant sur n'importe quel mot de la page (hormis les liens). Je ne vois pas l'intérêt de poster un forum pour une telle question.

Voial je devais écrire une lettre à mon futur enfant, je dois lui parler des dégats causés par l'homme et ce qu'il ou elle doit faire pour éviter le pire:

My dear Liyah,

I write this letter today to you because I have much thing to say to you. You are now twelve years old, you are in age to include what i will explain you.
The world of today is not any more that of front.
The man ruined all that is of use the survival of the Globe thus to the survival of the man. Today, air pollution, environmental pollution, causes a lot of damage, the glaciers melt, animal and vegetable species disappear.
Yet if everyone made a small effort, the situation would improve gradually. As far as I'm concerned I make an great effort. I take care not to wast water and electricity, that conserve energy. Sometimes I goes to work by foot or with bicycle, i leave the car in the garage, it is much more ecological. You along with your brother and all the children of your age, you are the future, it is necessary that you mind Globe. i say that to you so that you become conscious of the danger.

-- that conserve: non, pas “that”. Est-ce que tu voulais dire “pour” (afin de)? en tel cas, ce serait “in order to” ou “to”.

-- Comment peux-tu mettre “es” quand le sujet est I

Je viens de m'apercevoir que je n'ai pas repris la phrase: "Today, air pollution, environmental pollution, causes a lot of damage, the glaciers melt, animal and vegetable species disappear". Je suis sûre que quelqu'un d'autre reprendra cette phrase.

Quelques indications non exhaustives :

- ... understand them.
- ... used to be.
- Man has damaged the environment so much that your own future is at risk. The pollution caused/created by factories, vehicles and planes is bound to harm/has a bad effect on your health. Acid rain and global warming affect the whole world : animal species are disappearing, the Antartic ice sheet is melting, the ozone layer has been damaged so that the protection against the sunrays has been reduced.
... to save energy.
- I think it my duty to warn you about those dangers. I hope that you'll think about my message when you are adults and that you'll react to stop people damaging the planet.

- La dernière phrase demande un peu de travail -
Je pense que tu as besoin du verbe "to sort out into..."(trier / mettre en catégories). Tu peux donc conseiller à ton fils de faire de petites choses comme....."sorting out the rubbish into plastic, glass and paper" car cela aide au recyclage.
Vocabulaire qui peut également être utile:
the vegetable waste
the peelings
to make compost.

Tu y es presque!
et n'oublie pas une petite formule appropriée pour terminer la "lettre".

-- fundamental for guarantee: Je sais qu'en français tu veux dire -->fondamental pour garantir, mais en anglais, c'est fundamental to guarantee .........

-- to guarantee a good future: to guarantee the survival of our planet for the future generations.

-- your background. Ici, utilise le mot environment. Attention à l'orthographe. En anglais, c'est "nm" et pas "nn"comme en français.

-- Esteem. Ce mot est un nom, or, tu as besoin d'un verbe. Le verbe estimer est: to estimate. Je te suggère un meilleur choix. Au fait, ajoute les verbes suivants dans tes listes de vocabulaire car ils sont tous très utiles.
to respect = respecter
to appreciate = apprécier
to protect = protéger
to pollute = polluer
to save = sauvegarder
to avoid = éviter
to fight against pollution = lutter contre la pollution
