Hi everybody!!! I need help because I have a work to do on the cost of living in United States and I don't find anything about it!!! Can someone tell me what is the price of the gasoline, of bread, of tobacco....? Thank you!

I think it will depend on where you have to live, especially for the rent. It will not be the same if you live in a little town or if you live in a big town such as New York, San Francisco...

The cost of living depends on how people are living. For example, a homeless pays nothing for rent and also nothing for what he may have stolen like goods to supply his basic needs. At this society level, the cost of living wouldn’t be as high as it should according to the increasingly rising prices daily registered in the well known snobbish stock markets. So as you can see whether shares are up or down and prices get higher or lower, it mainly depends on the chosen and painfully imposed way of living. Hope that’s help.

The cost of most items is similar to Paris, but food is usually a bit cheaper.
Why not look at an American newspaper on-line and look at the ads? The food stores advertise their low prices to attract customers.
