c'est dommage tu aurais pu mettre les paroles de la chanson comme ça d'autres personnes auraient pû la traduire.

Je mets les paroles en anglais et si je vois que personne ne veux essayer de traduire je te donnerai une traduction

I really like that song when I was young. Though the album this song is extracted from is famous I think it isn't the best one. I advice you hearing the last one, but I don't remember the title. The jacket is in black in white or I'd rather say in brown and white, with a hatted man in a bar. It dates from 1980 I think.

For stairway to heaven just notice the sentences:

* "all that glitters is gold." that is taken in a contrary way of the usual proverb:

"all that glitters isn't gold"

* "the piper will lead us to reason" the piper used to charm with his tune and keep your mind away.

* "To be a rock and not to roll" in opposition to "rock and roll"

and the conclusion "And she's buying a stairway to heaven" that is in contradiction with the Christian moral.

That's a great philosophy song on appearance and reality, and fatality.

Yannloc, merci pour tes précieuses indications; je n'ai pas encore commencé la traduction, et j'ai peut-être été un peu présomptueuse quand je dis que ça me fera faire un petit exercice...
