Salut je ne sais pas si mon sujet et placé dans le bon forum mais j'ai besoin de conseil. Je dois réaliser une recherche sur Nelson Mandela pour mon cour d'anglais (je suis en seconde) la recherche doit être en anglais et assez claire car je devrais la présenter à l'orale en environ 5min en essayant de lire mes notes le moins possibles. Pensez vous que je dois faire mes recherche sur un site francophone puis traduire ou sur un site anglophone et simplifiez ensuite? auriez vous un site à me proposer (ou peut être il y a sur anglaisfacile un document sur Nelson Mandela que je n'aurais pas vu)

Il vous suffit de taper Nelson Mandela sur google et vous avez des sites vous intéressant

Il doit y avoir des tas de sites en anglais ! La plus grosse bêtise (excuse-moi, but I mean it !) serait de vouloir traduire du français en anglais !
A mon avis, tu devrais surtout développer un point particulier , comme, par exemple, sa lutte contre l'apartheid.

merci pour votre aide et vos remarques j'ai fini ma recherche et ma rédaction et je voudrais savoir ce que vous en pensez (si j'ai pas fait trop de fautes... )
Nelson Mandela
Nelson Rolihlala Mandelawas born in Transkey, South Africa on July 18,1918. His father Henry Mandela was the chief of the tembu tribe. He was educated at University College of Fort Hare from where he was expelled to have taken part in a demonstration of student, and in the university Witwatersand and qualified in law in 1942. He joined the African National Congress in 1944 and was engaged in resistance against the apartheid policies of the national party after 1948. He went on trial for treason in 1956 and was aquitted in 1961. When the ANC was banned in 1960 Mandela created Umkhonta we Sizwe a "military wing". Mandela was arrested in 1962 and sentenced to five years with hard labour. In 1963 he were arrested with any leaders of the ANC for sabotage,treason and plot. For these facts, he is condemned in 1964 wuth seven other militants to life imprisonment. From 1964 to 1982 he was incarcerated at Robben Island Prison after at Poolsmoor Prison.
During his years in prison Nelson Mandela's reputation grew. He was accepted as the most significant black leader in South Africa and became a potent symbol of resistance against apartheid. He refused to compromise his political position to obtain fis freedom.
He was released in 1990, 26 years after hus arrestation, a reccord of detention for a political reason. He was elected president of the ANC in 1991. Nelson Mandela and Frederik Klerk did negotiation which perpetuate put an end to apartheid. The two men receive the Nobel Price of Peace in 1993. One year later, at the first free election of the story of South Africa, Nelson Mandela was elected president. He was president for 1994 to 1999.
