1. I'm reading a text about Scottish traditions. There are some traditions I don't understand :
- What is Hannuka ? They say the most important festival for the Scots.
- The Scottish national dress is the kilt and they say that "tartan trousers are worn by the lowlanders but highlanders pride themselves on their national dress - the kilt ; the tartan depend's on your family name" ... What is tartan ? Are lowlanders and highlanders North and South Scottishs or is it the name of South and North Britain ? What is the difference for the tartan between two families ?
- Over their national outfit there's the sporran (small pouch or bag). Is it use like a bag or is it empty ? What is there inside
?Bye

Hannuka est une fête juive, quel rapport avec l'Ecosse ?

Maybe they spin the dreidel while listening to bagpipes, and light the menorah in their kilts?

Hello!
- Are you sure about Hanuka? Wasn't it Hogmanay? Hogmanay is one of(maybe THE) the most important celebrations in Scotland. They celebrate the New Year:
