Hi everyone! On this site this that is damage this is that few people put their age and that therefore so never one looks for a corresponding and well one never knows if one will fall on an adult of 40 years or an ado of 13 years... What a pity! Therefore Me I look for a correspondent that has of 13 to 16 years to be able be to speak by mall or on msn...

hello
may I ask you if "age" is REALLY important?
I think that not only for cultural & linguistic reasons but also for human contact , it is interesting to communicate with people of various ages... especially with different language levels.
What is your opinion about this?

gizmo, the age is really important if you want to share and understand the "Other"'s point of view, if you really want your correspondence to be successful.

I don't think so!
I give many many many conversation lessons to all sorts of ages!
from 18 to 75 for my eldest conversation "pupil"
so I really must disagree!
I admit that you may feel more at EASE with one of our own age range
but you can't say that you won't be able to share an opinion with someone double of your age or (and worse) THAT YOU WON'T UNDERSTAND HIM/HER! that is utter rubbish, trust me

Problems are not the same when you're a child, or a grown-up, a child would not understand priorities of a 60 years-old persons. It's just to say that it's easier (AND NOT MORE EASY !!! )) ) to handle a deep correspondent relationship with someone ... let's say "as old" as you.
And this is my point of view, not rubbish.

I agree with chrisg, I think "age" is important, so that, you'll have more
chances to be on the same wavelength. and we 're looking for that,
aren't we ?

I think that depends on the person and what she wants to do.
