Hi
Yeah, I think it means "nana " or "grandma", but I think it's spelled 'mommom' and not "mom mom".
But this needs to be confirmed though.

I've never heard the term "mom mom" ... I've heard the term "me-maw" used to mean grandmother.

Me too, I've never heard the term mom-mom. Are you sure you have heard it correctly?
It could be "ma-ma" which means "mom/mother" or"bonbon" with means candy. Check your sources.
Bye

Hi,
I have looked up the word in the dictionary and read that in slang American language "mom" means mother. (we pronounce the o like in "lot").
See you,

Well, I had never heard of it either, but I looked up on google, and found quite a lot of "mommoms" , even one pic where the person described his family saying "mommom" when it was a grandmother..so I just assumed it meant grandma!

Hi,
Thanks very much everybody. In fact, I have found it. I asked to my friend what is the meaning.
Mum-mum means grandma in American argot.
Thanks for the information.
Mic ;)
