How does one pronounce the names of the French cities Beaune and Caen? Is Beaune like "bone" in English? And is does one pronounce both vowels in Caen sounding like the ca from "cacahuète" and the an from the French "grand"?
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Baune sounds "bone". That's a marvelous city. You have to visit the hospice if you ever go there. That was an hospital until 1996. Of course you can taste wine. Vintage are often good and I do appreciate the burgundy.
Caen sounds can or quand in french. There is only one syllable.
