Hello everybody
Can we use loud, heavy or strong for the same meaning ?
I think I can say : my voice is loud or this noise is loud.
But heavy and strong are more confused for me in their meaning.
I need your help.
Thanks a lot

Hello, to make the use of these three adjectives sound less confusing to you, I suggest the following phrases:
1) Heavy(lourd)-
-a heavy rain
-a heavy traffic(un traffic dense)
-a heavy suitcase
-a heavy cold(un gros rhume)
-a heavy meal(un repas copieux), contraire: a light meal.
-a heavy sea(une grosse mer)
-heavy casualties(de nombreuses victimes)...
2)strong=fort( puissance, intensité, force physique, santé...)
-a strong person
-his strong points(ses points forts)
-to have strong nerves(avoir les nerfs solides)
-strong feelings...
3)loud=fort(un son, une voix, une musique...)-a loud voice
-a loud noise
-a loud music
-to speak out loud(parler tout haut)
-We could hear it loud and clear(nous l'entendions clairement)...
Their comparative and superlative:
-loud--louder/loudest.
-heavy--heavier/heaviest.
-strong--stronger/strongest.
The noun and adverb we can build:-loud --loudness(N), loudly(adv).
-heavy--?!?!?/heavily(adv).
-strong--strength(N)/strongly(adv).
I hope I've helped you to make the dinstinction between the three.

Hello
Thanks a lot for your help.
Can we say : the atmosphere is heavy
or
the climate is heavy (when it's too hot or to electric because there is a big storm in the country).

En effet, on peut dire "the athmosphere is heavy", par contre pour dire:"il fait lourd "en parlant du temps qu'il fait, on dit "the weather is close".
