Hot and warm are adjectives. You say, "The soup is hot" or "The room is warm." Hot is more extreme than warm.
Both words also have double meanings. In American slang, a "hot" guy (un beau mec) is a handsome or good-looking boy or man. A "warm" welcome is kind or heartfelt. To say something "hotly" means to say it with vehemence; to speak "warmly" is to speak with sincerity.
Heat is a noun. You might say, "I felt the heat from the oven on my face," or "You cannot leave ice cream in the heat for too long or it will melt."
I hope that helps! A bientot!
