To be short-listed veut dire être nominé pour un prix qu'il soit litterraire ou autre:
he is short listed for the Music Awards: il est nominé pour les Musics awards
par contre pour "long-listed" je cale
Bon courage

I think there is first a long list of nominations, and later, the list is shortened so that only the best candidates remain on the short list.
To be long-listed = to be on the long list
To be short-listed = to be on the short list.

I agree with this, but I don't think "long listed" is used that much.

Hi!
shortlist (noun) is a list of people who have been chosen from a larger group by someone who is deciding who should get a job, a prize etc.
it can also be a verb : to shortlist
For "long shorted" : I have seeking but without result
