Here is my work :
1- To be brighter than. (s n t h) 4 outshine = briller plus que, surpasser.
2- To bring the foot down with force on the ground. (m t p s) 1 stamp = taper du pied.
3- To put together, make up or invent. (c t n c c) 2 concoct = concocter, préparer.
4- A mass of small bubbles on the top of a liquid. (t h r f) 1 froth = mousse, écume, bouillonner.
5- A place of noise, confusion or uproar. (d m b l) 2 bedlam = chahut, vacarme.
6- To feel or show great respect for. (v r r) 3 revere = révérer, vénérer.
7- To take revenge for a wrong on behalf of someone else. (g v n) 3 avenge = venger.
8- An important cereal, grown especially in America. (z m) 3 maize = maïs.
9- The form that an insect takes when it is changing from a larva to its perfect form. (p p) 2 pupa = insecte qui se transforme en un insecte parfait. Pupe, nymphe, chrysalide.
10- A dam across a river, with a drop on one side. (r w) 2 weir = barrage.
