Bonjour,
Pour le groupe I. Tous sont correctes sauf #3
"more older" n'est pas correcte.
Pour le groupe II vous avez beaucoup plus d'erreurs que j'ai marqué en bleu.
Reponses:
1.The later news we received from him was most alarming. Pas faux de dire "later" mais normalement on voit le superlatif dans ce contexte.
2. He has two daughters, the elder teaches Law. correcte mais on peut aussi dire logiquement "the eldest" - elle est "the elder" et "the eldest" car on sait qu'il n'y a que deux. Ici c'est un exemple d'utiliser le mot "elder" comme nom. Lien internet
. Pour rester adjective on dirait "the elder/older daughter teaches Law" ou "the eldest/oldest daughter teaches Law".
3.Life is by far easiest today than before the war. La comparaison est entre deux choses (la vie avant la guere et la vie aujourd'hui). Lien internet
4. The road is getting more and more narrow . correcte
5. The country has been more free since the revolution. Règle: On ajoute ‘er' à l'adjectif court, suivi par ‘than'. Lien internet
6. I want a frankest answer. le superlatif ne marche pas ici... le superlatif a toujour "the" ou "my" ou "his/her" etc avant. "A" avant le mot ne peut pas être le superlatif. This is a smaller cat. This is the smallest cat. This is my smallest cat.
7. The economic recession seems to get worse. correcte. bad...worse...worst.
8. He is the eldest child in the family. correcte
9. We can't stop here, let's go further. further est pour des choses symboliques pas les distances. Lien internet
10. Let's stop here, the slope is more gentle. correcte - (on peut faire les deux "more gentle" ou "gentler") Lien internet
11. This is the most advantageous offer l've ever had. correcte
12. She has compiled many of funnier and cutter scathing remarks. Hmmm Je n'aime pas mettre deux adjectives à côté l'un a l'autre. Je ne vois une bonne phrase ici. Mais je dirais avec le mot of il faut avoir "the" après...ce qui suggère le superlative. Mais la phrase que vous avez écrit ne marche pas.

Bonjour, Au secours aux autres qui assistent ici dans le forum pour le numéro 12.

Hello,
En effet la 12 est fausse; il faut partir de ce schéma:
12. She has compiled many of ... and ... scathing remarks (funny/ cutting).
Elle est donc à refaire

Bonjour,
Oui impossible de dire "of funner" et impossible de dire "cutter scathing" ensemble... Je ne trouve même pas une réponse correcte que je pourrais mettre.

Le superlatif est la seule possibilité bien que
12. She has compiled many of the funniest and the most cutting scathing remarks
est bizarre ...il faudrait 'and' =
She has compiled many of the funniest and the most cutting and scathing remarks

Bonjour,
Il y a une petite faute d'orthographe dans la phrase I, 2 :
