J'ai une interrogation sur la formulation de la phrase suivante :

Elle ressemble beaucoup à son grand-père
Faut-il dire :
- She looks so much as her grandfather
ou
- she looks a lot like ou as her grandfather

- she looks a lot like her grandfather...ok
To look like = ressembler à
she looks like her grandfather.
she looks a lot like her grandfather.
she looks so much like her grandfather! ... exclamative

Note that saying "she takes after her grandfather" might also indicate that she enjoys the same activities/hobbies/career as her grandfather.
