Hello,
Could anyone please explain me the meaning of this phrase "you weren't meant to know".
Thanks for any reply.
A little bird told me basically means: I have heard from somebody. You aren't telling them who told you. Someone's told you something that maybe was a secret, maybe was something that you weren't meant to know.

Hello
"you weren't meant to know". means that you were not supposed to be told that. It shouldn't have been repeated to you. You were meant to be left in the dark.
