1- Very great happiness. (l s s b) 1 bliss = bonheur, béatitude.
2- A secret manner of acting. (t t l s h) 2 stealth = discrétion, en cachette.
3- In bed for a long period because of age or sickness. (d d d r n b) 3 bedridden = alité.
4- The body, excluding the head and limbs. (r t s) torso = tronc.
5- To soak thoroughly. (t p s) steep = faire macérer, tremper...
6- To get rid of. (h d c t) ditch = jeter.
7- Determined or insistent. (m d t n) 3 adamant = inflexible.
8- To rob or steal from (a place). (d p n l r) plunder = piller.
9- Struck with horror. (h t g s) 2 aghast = horrifié, atterré, accablé.
10- Fate, especially something terrible and final which is about to happen (to one). (d m) doom = perte, ruine, destin tragique, mort.
