Hello everybody,
Excuse me, could you explain that, please?
Je vois sur ce site ( super) I prefer to have coffee rather than "to" have chocolate
ou aussi I prefer to drive rather than" " travel by train
ou encore :
I'd prefer to stay at home rather than" " go to the cinema
I would prefer to swim rather than "to" run today.
Vous aurez compris ma question est :
Faut il "to" après rather than
Thank you very much for your patience

Bonjour
Rather than respecte la construction du verbe de départ (alors que instead of impose ing)
You should swim rather than run.
Rather than running, he devoted himself to swimming.
I need to swim rather than to run.
I need to swim rather than run.
I prefer to drive rather than" " travel by train.

Merci Gerondif
I'd prefer to sit in the garden rather than watch TV.
I'd prefer to sit in the garden rather than TO watch TV.
