Aide à la correction d'un résumé

Bonjour,
Je suis actuellement en deuxième année de BTS chimie, je dois rendre la version définitive de mon rapport de stage pour la rentrée et je voudrais savoir si mon résumé est grammaticalement correct?
Le voici:
Being in my first year of my “B.T.S” (Equivalent of Higher National Diploma in United Kingdom), I had to do an internship of two months in a chemical business.
After many applications, I was accepted by the Pennel & Flipo Company: It produces coated fabrics in the Roubaix’s town.
My internship took place from June 04 to July 27, 2007.My job was at 50% in the “Research and Development” sector, and at 50% at the “Quality” sector.
In the first, I created a method of tests to determine among three rubbers, the one best suited to each solvent. The solvents was : Gasoil, Unleaded 98, Unleaded 98 and 10% of Ethanol, Unleaded 98 and 20% of Ethanol, Unleaded 98 and 30% of Ethanol, and a mix of Isooctane, Toluene (60/40).
In the second, I had to learn how to use a machine : A Viscosimeter, and to measure the viscosity of the "glue" maked for the coated fabrics.
Beside that, I also assist technicians in their everyday work : Physical tests on fabrics, “collages”, dosages, etc…
These two months were really rewarding, I discovered a world that I did not know. But it also made me understand that I should continue my studies in chemistry.
