Hi everybody!
I got a little question, could somebody help me? , by the end of the week, at school, we were discussing the use of the echo question. For the ones wondering what I'm talking about, i give some little examples:
I'm an actress......the echo question would be : are you?
I work at the canteen......the echo question would be : do you?
Here's my question : what would be the echo question to a sentence using the "have" verb as auxiliary?
For instance : I've been running for two hours.
What would be the correct question? "have you?" or "did you?"
Thanks.
