Exposé oral/Lucky Luke
Message de luckittygirl posté le 16-11-2008 à 13:25:04 (S | E | F)
Bonjour
I'm going to talk about an imaginary cowboy whose the name is Lucky Luke. He was born at the end of the year 1946 of the feather of Morris. His first adventure is called Arizona 1880 which was published in 1947.
Lucky was rather a violent man and had killed 2 people but when René Goscinny is arrived in his world, he's became a modest, gallant, courteous, respectful and an appealing cowboy.
And now, the Lucky Luke we know is very clever with a pistol, he is always ready to help the weakest, he ignores fright and he is a servant of justice because he spent his time to watch the Dalton.
The famous sentence ' Lucky Luke the man who shoots faster than his shadow ' was justly invented by René Goscinny in 1968.
Lucky is a nomadic cowboy who lives provisionally in the cities of Texas and we know that he refers to his grandfather two times during his adventures.
He has met all mythical characters of the Far West like Billy the Kid, Jesse James or the Dalton Brothers and his adventures are often linked up to historical events.
His faithful horse Jolly Jumper is very clever, contrary to Rantanplan. Sometimes, Luky plays dices or chess with his horse and when he lose, he has to carry him but his horse always cheats.
In 1981, the comic strip became a cartoon for the first time.
In 1983, Lucky stopped smoking so Morris has been rewarded by the WHO (World Earth Organization) to have shown good example.
And the last movie of Lucky Luke is came out in 2007 with ' Go West ! '
I have chosen to talk about this character because I like this comic strip, it makes me smile because there is a lot of humour
and because I love all what is Far West, that is cowboy, indian, country song and for me, after the death of Morris and René Goscinny, Lucky is not an alone cowboy because he survives to his author.
