Bonjour tout le monde,

voilà, j'ai un exercice à faire, à savoir: identifier subject, verb, object and also complement and adverbial if applicable dans les phrases suivantes:

1.[The observed rate of emission of radiation from hot matter][was]incredible.
subject vb
2. What [they] did [impress] .
subject verb object
3. Does [the professor] [wear] [that furry hat] [every Wednesday]?
subject verb object adverbial
4. [To perform in the Broad Marsh Center] [was] [Timberlake's finest achievement]. object verb subject

Pourriez vous me dire si cela vous semble correcte ou pas?

Your sentences look okay. I guess that with N° 2 there is more to the sentence. What they did impress was ..... Is that so?
