Hello everybody,
First, my best wishes to all of you for New Year.
I have some trouble finding the best forms between of the following patterns.
1. to suggest (sth to sb)
a. Parents should suggest playing(game) to their children (suggest sth to sb)
b. Parents should suggest playing for the children to try to do (suggest sth for sb to do)
2. important (to vs for) and importance
a.It is important to me (important to)
b. It is important for me to improve my english (important for; is important to me to do possible?)
c. This topic is of great importance for us (to us ? is it possible)
3. Me (to of for)
a.(To me or for me? ), he'll give up
b.(To me or for me?) ,it 's the right thing to do.
Please could you explain to me the grammar point underlying these uses.
