Medicine for a cold
Message de inga posté le 17-02-2009 à 16:45:08 (S | E | F)
hello,
could anyone tell me please which option is correct?
What's the use in taking
a)a medicine for a cold
b) a medicine for the cold
C) medicine for a cold
d) medicine for cold
I guess it's the answer A, cold is countable but medicine can be either [U> or [C] and I'm not sure.
thanks in advance
Inga

Bonjour,
C, because medicine is not countable ("some medicine" is implied).
Hope this helps!
