Imagine you are the new Barack Obama. You meet someone from a minority and you discuss with him, her of your plans regarding affirmative actions and how they are going to change his/her life
-Hello young man, how are you ?
-Like yesterday and tomorrow. My life will never change. In the street, the things are not the same, they are some rules, and you have to respect them.
-Well, you’re very pessimistic my friend, do you know who I am?
-A happy man, in a happy world, of course...
-I’m the president of the United States, and I can, I’ve got the power to change this country. I’m not psychologist but I know and consist of your mentality.
-You can’t understand me, you have a bed to sleep, a roof which protects you of wind or storm, a family, who loves you and you love her...
-Listen to me, my brother. Today i have meansto help you and I will save some homeless but you have to believe in me. Tonight you will go to the park at 43st street and “ramène des gens de confiance, méritant”. I will meet you.
-If you say, you’re like a good man, Mr president...
It’s now 9:00PM, and they are twenty homeless who are waiting in the park. The president climbs in the “estrade”.
-Man and woman, younger and older, it will be short. Tonight I sign this paper, that means that I will build a new tower, with a ot of “appartements” very low cost. But to pay it, you have to work.
-Where, for who?!
-For this town, in garden, green space, or « pas d’idée pour compléter cette phrase”
You have to help your « semblables” and convinced them to go with you, find a little job fot live in this tower, which i named “la tour du renouveau”. “L’état” will pay you 280 dollars, if you “menez cette tache à bien”.
I will change your life, you can stay homeless, or take this luck... It’s your choice. But remember, if I help you today, you have to help your friends!

Bonsoir,
-Hello young man, how are you ?
-Like yesterday and tomorrow. My life will never change. In the street,
-Well, you’re very pessimistic my friend, do you know who I am?
-A happy man, in a happy world, of course...
-I’m the president of the United States, and I can, I’ve got the power to change this country. I’m not a(devant nom de métier) psychologist but I know and consist of (ce verbe n'a pas sa place ici)your mentality.
-You can’t understand me, you have a bed to sleep in, a roof which protects you of wind or storm, a family who loves you and you love her(passez au pluriel)...
-Listen to me, my brother. Today i have means to help you and I will save some homeless people but you have to believe in me. Tonight you will go to the park at 43st street and “ramène(to bring back) des gens(people) de confiance, méritant(deserving)”. I will meet you.
-If you say so, you’re(to look like:ressembler à, ne va pas ici: traduisez: voussemblez être) like a good man, Mr president...
It’s now 9:00PM, and they are (il y a)twenty homeless people who are waiting in the park. The president climbs in the “estrade”.(double cliquez sur le mot pour avoir la traduction)
-Man and woman, younger and older(pas terrible), it will be short. Tonight I sign this paper, that means that I will build a new tower, with a lot of “appartments” at a very low cost. But to pay it, you have to work.
-Where, for who(dans l'autre sens)?!
-For this town, in gardens, green spaces, or « pas d’idée pour compléter cette phrase”
You have to help your « semblables” and convinced(inf) them to go with you, find a little job fot(mauvais pour) live in this tower, which i named “la tour du renouveau”. “L’état” will pay you 280 dollars, if you “menez cette tache à bien”.
I will change your life, you can stay homeless, or take this luck(profiter de ccete occasion (opportunity)... It’s your choice. But remember, if I help you today, you have to help your friends!

Merci

Deuxièmement j'aimerais(conditionnel) bien savoir que dire à la place de "Man and woman, younger and older", je pensais (imparfait)à "Cher concitoyen" mais cela ce se dit-il en anglais et si oui comment? Merci
Bonsoir,
Men and women of America.... serait assez fluide aussi.
