Success of fast food / correction
Message de bliss posté le 31-01-2010 à 18:58:03 (S | E | F)

Salut à tous

Alors voilà le sujet est : How do you explain the success of fast food restaurants all over the world?

J'ai écrit :

Several reasons explain the success of fast food restaurants all over the world :
Firstly, the prices are rather low, thus it's less expensive eating in a Fast-Food restaurant than going to a classical restaurant or cooking, for middle-class families.
Secondly, in our society, people often runs out of time because they are overbooked, they have to juggle with their family life and their job and they lack time to shop and to prepare balance meals. Fast-Food restaurants allow them to have lunch very quickly, they have even the possibility of buying the food without getting out their cars and to eat their meal wherever they like. So, the quickness of service and the take out food are a real advantage.
Then, people go to Fast-Food for the simplicity : they don't have to cook, especially as more and more people don't even know how to cook, even the easiest recipes, and they don't need to clean after the meal too. It is an easy and convenient solution.
Next, for young people, Fast-Food are convivial and friendly, you can get together, have fun and chat.
We can also supposed people go to Fast-Food restaurants because they are influenced by TV on which advertising make them believe it's cheaper, handier, better and more nutritive.
Moreover, some are use to eat Junk Food, and they find it tastier, they are probably addicted to this food.

Merci beaucoup

Bonsoir,

Several reasons explain the success of fast food restaurants all over the world :
Firstly, the prices are rather low, thus eating(mettez le comme sujet directement) in a Fast-Food restaurant
is less expensive than going to a classical restaurant or cooking, for middle-class families.
Secondly, in our society, people(est pluriel) often runs out of time because they are overbooked, they have to juggle with their family life and their job (j'aurais mis ces deux mots life et job au pluriel) and they lack time to shop and to prepare balance(participe passé) meals. Fast-Food restaurants allow them to have lunch very quickly, they have even(even devant have) the possibility of buying the food without getting out of their cars and to eat their meal wherever they like. So, the quickness of service and the take-out food are a real advantage.
Then, people go to Fast-Food for the simplicity : they don't have to cook, especially as more and more people don't even know how to cook, even the easiest recipes, and they don't need to clean after the meal too. It is an easy and convenient solution.
Next, for young people, Fast-Food (restaurants) are convivial and friendly, you can get together, have fun and chat.
We can also supposed(base verbale derrière can) people go to Fast-Food restaurants because they are influenced by TV on which (where?) advertising make(présent 3eme personne = s) them believe it's cheaper, handier, better and more nutritive.
Moreover, some are use(participe passé au passif) to eat(construction:I am used to speaking) Junk Food, and they find it tastier, they are probably addicted to this food.

c'est un texte de bon niveau !

Voilà, j'espère que ma correction est juste, encore merci beaucoup
