Hi everybody !
I need your help ! My motherlanguage tongue is French so I don't speak English very well ...I work in a big shop for clothes...Sometimes, people say tell me 'can I upstairs" ? What does it mean ? It is the same thing that " can I COME upstairs ???...(same with downstairs)
Or when I want to say " en bas " to the customers...have I to say " downstairs " only ?
Sorry for my English...
Thank you for your help !!

Hello!
Lucile is correct, of course. Additionally, if you only wish to direct people to go downstairs, you can just say "downstairs".
"Do you have any [such and such] clothing?"
"Yes, downstairs".
"Yes, upstairs".
Cordialement
