Bonjour,
pouvez-vous m'aider à corriger mon devoir s'il vous plaît ?
J'ai mis quelques questions en plus entre parenthèses.
Charles Dickens
Charles John Huffam Dickens was born in Portsmouth in the County of Hampshire the 7th February (of??) 1812. He died in Gadshill in the Kent the 9th (of??)June 1870.
He was an english author and novelist. He wrote in particular « David Copperfield », « a Christmas Carol » and « Oliver Twist ».
He is counted among the more famous english writers of the 19th century.
His family was poor. He was 12 as he worked in a factory because his father was in prison for debts.
Then he went to school again for 3 years.
He became lawyer’s clerk in 1827 and next worked for the « Morning Herald » and published « Sketches by Boz » in 1835.
He denounced the socials injustices of this time.
He traveled in America in 1840 and was disappointed to see (by seeing ??)slavery.
Dickens wrote a lot of books and he is always famous in the world ; there are films inspired of his books in cinema and television.
Merci.

Bonsoir,
Voici ce que tu dois corriger:
Charles Dickens
Charles John Huffam Dickens was born in Portsmouth in the County of Hampshire the 7th February (of??) 1812 (ON + MOIS + DATE + ANNEE). He died in Gadshill in the Kent the 9th (of??)June (même remarque) 1870.
He was an english (majuscule) author and novelist. He wrote in particular « David Copperfield », « a Christmas Carol » and « Oliver Twist ».
He is counted among the more famous english writers of the 19th century.
His family was poor. He was 12 as (pas le bon mot) he worked in a factory because his father was in prison for debts.
Then he went to school again for 3 years.
He became a lawyer’s clerk in 1827 and next worked for the « Morning Herald » and published « Sketches by Boz » in 1835.
He denounced the socials (les adjectifs sont invariables) injustices of this (that) time.
He traveled in America in 1840 and was disappointed to see
Dickens wrote a lot of books and he is always famous in the world ; there are films inspired of his books in cinema and television.

Thank you, denassy, for answering and your good work.
