About to come/ mind
Message de rony123 posté le 03-07-2011 à 09:52:53 (S | E | F)
Hello everybody ! I'm just new on this site.
Hope it be great to be a part of you guys and learn a bit from you, if possible to contribute as well.
May be a bit demanding at first but I need a favor of you guys by translating my English phrase in French, because I tried it a lot but couldn't make it to have a better sense to express myself.
"I was about to come at 10 o clock but I couldn't, because I had been busy searching you on the way. I think I should not have done this, did you mind?"
The main problem is to translate "about to come" and "mind something"
Thank you for your help.

Hello Rony,
on this site.
I would translate:
"J'étais sur le point de venir à dix heures, mais je n'ai pas pu parce que j'étais occupé à vous chercher sur le chemin.Je pense que je n'aurais pas dû agir ainsi, cela vous a-t-il dérangé?
"about to come"= sur le point de venir. prêt à venir.
"to mind"=faire attention à.
Lien Internet
see you.

Hello,
Je traduirais 'did you mind' par 'cela vous a t-il contrarié/ennuyé?'.
