Hello On arrive pas à pas

6. How many people did he meet this day Past Perfect is better / that instead of this
8. OK
9. avant d'être = before being relâcher = to set free / to release (notez bien le temps du verbe)
10. Il me semble que le Past Perfect vaut mieux
11. I asked him if she had finished. She said nothing. apparently, she hadn't see (see = voir) that I had said.
13. I asked myself how long did he work (temps) with her?
14. OK
15. I knew that she had been bought by her brother.
C'est ma voiture. Elle (= ma voiture) était achetée par mon frère.
She = une personne
It = une chose
I knew that it had been bought by his/her brother. (passive)
I knew that his/her brother had bought it. (active)

Hello

Je me suis trompé => 6. I knew that he was always lying to me everytime. I asked him how many people he had met that day.
9. OK
10. People told me that he had begun to write 2 years before.
11. I asked him/her if she had finished. (I think it makes more sense to translate "lui" as "her") She said nothing. Apparently, she hadn't heard what I had said.
13. I asked myself how long he had been working with her?
15. OK

Cordialement
