Tongue Twisters

Hello everybody,
You surely know plenty of tongue twisters.
Some are well known like: She sells sea shells by the sea shore.
Personally, I like the short ones, easy to remember but very useful as pronunciation exercises. Here are just a few of them. If you have any more in store, you're welcome.
Three free throws.
Shy Shelly says she shall sew sheets.
Knapsack straps.
Cheap ship trip.
Six short slow shepherds.
Twelve twins twirled twelve twigs.
Six sharp smart sharks.
So long,
alep

Hello alep ,
I'll certainly add some of ' your ' short ones to my basket : thanks a lot .
Do you know the one which goes ( although not a short one ) :
-How much wood would a wood-chuck chuck if a wood -chuck could chuck wood ?
Once mastered and said as smoothly and quickly as possible , it just makes English sound even more beautiful ...
We've got a short French one which is so tricky and almost impossible , a ' rub' to pronounce , even by young comedians :
- Je veux ( zé) et j'exige !
Have a try , too and nice sunday !

Hello!
Here's one I like...'a box of biscuits, a box of mixed biscuits, and a biscuit mixer'. It seems simple enough when you say it slowly the first time, but then try to say it 3 or more times, very quickly. It's definitely a tongue twister. Happy Sunday to all. Sherry

Hello,
Thanks and here is a new one:
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked,
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
How many pickled peppers did Peter Piper pick?
And this one for Swan.... and everybody.....
Swan swam over the sea,
Swim Swan swim,
Swan swam back again,
Well swam Swan.

Hello!
Here are a few more to add to the collection.
1. To complete the one started by violet: A woodchuck could chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could, if a woodchuck could chuck wood!
2. Say this 3 times fast: soldier's shoulders
3. and, since we happen to have 2 pet frogs (that are over 14 years old!), there is this one: Fat frogs flying past fast.
Have fun!
