Hello,
Emphatic Form = subject + auxiliary in the present simple or in the preterite + verb without -to
The action is in the past or being done?
Goodbye!

Sorry for the mistake, gerondif.

Hello,
do in the affirmative form means you insist
We did do our homework !!
does is wrong with we.
I do love you! We do love you !
He does live in Sydney !!
I think two "do" in a row would sound awkward.
(I mean by that that if I am the one speaking, of course I will stress the first do and the listener will know that i insist. If I read the sentence, I will have to think that it is a form of insistance and I will be off balance for a second or two)
I do do my homework regularly !! I would use "really" to avoid that:
I really do my homework regularly.
Thank you for helping me! Thank you for reading this post.

Hello.
Nothing wrong with two "do"s in a row.
I do do my homework, so stop saying I don't!
It's similar to two "had"s.
Well, he had had his picture taken, so he must not have been that protective of his privacy.
See you.
