Hello
I have a question: When do you use 'maybe' and 'perhaps' ?
I hope that somebody will be able to help me !
Thank you for your answers.

Hello,
They are similar in their meaning, but 'perhaps' is more formal than 'maybe'.
Also 'perhaps' is more often used than 'maybe' so that people don't get confused with 'may be'.

"Perhaps" is common in academic writing.
"Maybe" is common in conversation.
