I want to know why "is manufactured" with "Most electronic equipment".
Why can't I use "are manufactured" with "Most electronic equipment".?

Equipment is a singular; are is a plural.

Hello,
As Lucile and notrepere have already said "equipment" is a singular noun.
It means all things which are used for a particular purpose.
Use the dictionary again,and concentrate!
