Hello
I'm practising my English, and I want to improve it.
I read a sentence and I didn't know if it's exact and why you use that.
Ex: People have been told,
when do we use been? you suppose to add after been the form ing but it's not the case.
Can you explain which tense it is for that sentence?
Have been talked or have been talking, the past perfect continuous is -ing after been, why can you use have been talked (ed) after been. Do you understand my question?
Thanks a lot to explain it.

Hello,
People have been told.
Il s'agit de la forme passive:
les gens ont été informés."told" est donc bien le participe passé du verbe to tell.
isn't it?
