Bonsoir,
We can ask us if that is simple to become a hero and if anybody can be considered as a hero?
We have a tendency to associate the word hero to superheroes, such as Batman or Spiderman.
They correspond perfectly to the previous definition : they have exceptional qualities, their superpowers, and they do the Good with : usually, they help and they save people.
We forget that heroes can be real. In fact, even if those don't have superpowers, they achieved good acts, or they fought for a cause.
First, we have taken an interest in a person who is admired for his outstanding achievements : Martin Luther King.
This man fought against racism and segregation in United States.
By fighting, he is become a hero for many people.
- As long as it will exist inequalities and injustice, our world will need heroes to make reigning justice. They are models for us, and they stay models for us, even after their death. They continue to live through times in memories, and with them, fight for fairness and equality continues too. Thus, fighting for causes, showing generosity, bravery and altruism, taking risks and giving for others, everyone can become a hero.
Merci beaucoup
